Get rid of odors with charcoal

When the vent hood is installed in recirculation mode, the air is picked up and passes through multiple filters including the charcoal filter that absorbs odors. This freshened air is then pushed back into the kitchen. Over time, activated charcoal particles saturate and stop blocking off odors leaving your kitchen with strong smells.

Careful flimsy lense

Had to replace the halogen bulb after slightly over one year of use. I followed the directions on removing the lenses only to find the thin metal bent. After replacing the bulb the directions say to snap back into place. The lense did not " snap back into place." Instead of just being able to replace the lense I now have to replace the entire lamp for $60+ dollars. I hope I don't have to go through this every time I replace the bulb. Flimsy construction and a rip off. Otherwise it works well.
