For cooks who have more to make but less undercounter space, this Perimeter Ventilation hood clears the air edge-to-edge with a powerful 400 CFM Class motor, yet with a low profile that leaves room for culinary exploration. Heat-sensor-enabled Auto Speed Setting helps busy cooks keep their cool. (Performance varies based on installation)

Low Profile Design

Affords more space between the bottom of the hood and the cooking surface. The visible portion of the hood extends just 2-3/8" below the cabinetry above it, enabling ventilation even in limited spaces and offering more room for creativity.

Perimeter Ventilation

Can handle up to a 65,000 BTU total output by pulling air from the edges of the hood and speeding up the movement of the air at the center

Pairs with any 30-inch and 36-inch range or cooktop with a total burner output up to 65,000 BTU.

Automatic Turn On

Provides intuitive assistance to help keep smoke and steam from building up in the kitchen. If the hood's sensor detects high-heat cooking on multiple burners while the controls are off, it will automatically turn on the fan and set it to Power Boost.

the side brackets for a 30 inch cabinet will not work. the hood is 26 inches wide. So if put the bracket as told on inside flush the space between the two bracket are more than 26 inches. I have seen other reviews to add shims . which I will do. plus will have to cut the bracket at the back to make them fit to go up into the cabinet. This is so uncalled for your company to design it to have to do all these things to fix. Maybe you have put brackets for a 36 inch cabinet in the 30 inch box. I am not one to complain. This is to help you all to fix the problem. I will call when I finish this to see if you have a bracket that will work

We bought this hood about 5 weeks ago. I installed it, alone--84 yrs old. It fought me all the way due to confusing installation man. We love it to bits! Beautiful, easy to use and clean, quiet, and works really well. Extremely pleased!

Product is great the installation manual for those of us who don't do this type of work all the time, is horrible. No mention of the need to shim the sides of the 30 inch cabinet. No illustration in the manual of the installed unit shimmed.

There is nothing not to like about this hood. It's modern and works really well. We have it vented to the outside, so no more smoke in the kitchen. We had a really difficult hood set-up to replace and this was just what we needed. Highly recommend.

It took 3 months to get it installed and working

I would shop around more before buying this again...two difficult service trips to replace circuit boards and another to replace a different board.
