We bought this microwave a few weeks ago and absolutely love it! It is fast, quiet, and very efficient. The presets are great and very easy to use w/o having to refer to a manual. At the recommendation of a sales clerk, we previously bought a Samsung OTR microwave and it died less than a year later. We will NEVER buy another Samsung kitchen appliance! Maytag is the way to go ... you will not regret it.

It just doesn’t seem to cook very fast.

I am a bit disappointed in my new microwave BECAUSE it’s slow to cook. I could heat say a cup of water in 1minute in my old one, where my new one takes at least 1:20 to reach the same temperature. I would think being 10 years newer it would be equivalent to if not more efficient. Could there be a problem with it?

I haven't purchased a microwave is about 20 years so this is a real upgrade for our home! Love that I can choose either the shelf or the turntable and if I further wish I can turn the turntable off! Its quieter and just better all the way around! Really enjoying it!

Touchpad quit & repair person stated that they were not available and even if they were it would be less expensive to get a new microwave. Talk about a huge ripoff!!! Maytag used to have well built appliances. No longer it seems.

You would think a Maytag would last longer than 2 years. The white plastic plate on the inside ceiling has formed a 4 inch drip - so it’s melting? This is a microwave / you would think it could withstand heat. Called the service line and would need to pay $100 just to diagnose it and then pay for the repair - guess they make them to be replaced now.
