Bosch 800 Series Electric Slide-in Range 30" Stainless Steel

BOSCH has engineered this stove to be very user friendly. I've even enjoyed the warming area to take the chill off plates before serving the dinner. It's easy to clean with Weiman cleaner and polish. The burner size variety works well. Knobs and control panel are susceptible to spatter, but the handy location is the trade-off. I highly recommend this 800 Series Electric Range.

This range is nice but I had a terrible time getting it to fit. The counters had to be shaved to the opening stated, which I expected and was not Bosch fault. After that, the range still didn't fit, it wasnt sliding all the way back. It stuck out about 2 inches. The electrical outlet in the floor was in the way. It would have been nice if the bottom of the back panel was a little more open. I had to call an electrician to move it. After the electrical was moved, it still didn't slide all the way back and this time I feel it is Bosch fault. It took a while, but finally we figured it out. The top screws holding the control panel stick out about 1/8" on each side. The range still did not clear the countertop, the screws blocked it from going all the way back. The countertop people had to come back a second time and shave it down an additional 1/8" on each side. Finally it fit! However, the corner protectors in the back did not. And I wasn't about to pay the countertop people a third time to come back. So it looks a little unfinished at the back but at least, after 2 months of fooling around, it is in. I've barely had a chance to use it much, other than the cooktop, but so far I like it.

Although we had our range installed only a month ago, it has proved to be of high quality, user friendly, and looks great in our refreshed kitchen! Read prior reviews about the top being difficult to clean and easily scratched, yet not my experience. This may be because I'm used to a glass range top. Spilled some homemade jam on burner and cleaned right up with a razor blade and glass cooktop cleaner! Oven bake is right on, including convection for baking.

I love this range. It fits perfectly over the edge of my counter (main reason I wanted this stove) The area above the touch pad stays warm, I was concerned but had service tell me it's normal for the low voltage bulb for the clock.

We were so pleased to finally receive our new range. It looks great and is all it promised to be.
