2 year old machine with failed control panel

Another warning to avoid this washing machine because the control panels are unreliable. I purchased this machine in June 2017, and now it will not power on. I had a Maytag certified technician inspect the machine today, and the control panel has failed and the appliance manager is questionable. Since the machine is out of the 1 year warranty period, I am stuck with a 2 year old washing machine that requires repairs costing $450-$700. I am very disappointed in the quality of this Maytag product.

Washer seems to do a better job than any other washer I've had in the past when it comes to use of detergent. Clothes smell better and feel cleaner!

I love the sound of my new Maytag washer-absolutely quiet. As it is right next to my kitchen the lack of sound as well as the indicator sounds that the load is finished washing are invaluable to me.

I’m sorry, I really loved my old washer I had for 15 years. But it quit spinning out the water so I thought I’d try a Maytag. It doesn’t spin out rugs either unless you have more than one. The dryer is hard to get to the controls when it’s stacked.

This Machine has every feature you could possibly need without getting complicated and too pricey. It is large enough for even my combined towel and bedding loads, and washes everything from dedicates to stained whites well. I highly recommend this machine to all my friends and family after I saw it as CR "Best Budget Buy" and am very happy with my purchase.
