I bought my washer 3 years ago. Had nothing but issues with it. The techs that come to repair it are never prepared. The fix is always some kind of work around or a wait for parts etc. Lastly trying to get a repair is an odyssey itself.

Purchased this new LG washer and it started leaving a flaky-brown substances on our clothes after only a few months. Weve followed all the operations and cleaning guidelines. LG has sent techs but cannot fix the issue. LG should do the right thing and issue a refund but they are unwilling to do so. Apparently the customer is always wrong. Buyer beware

Ive had my washer for a couple of years now. I really like it and I can put a good amount of clothing into it and love that it cleans very well. My only 2 issues with the washer are that I find I have to wash sheets and towels separately because the weight of the wet towels seems to make the washer unbalanced and it stops and I have to rearrange the load. In addition when cleaning heavy blankets I find that sometimes the machine does not go from rinse to spin without my also having to stop the machine and level out the load if it becomes unbalanced. Even with these two shortcomings I highly recommend the washer.
