Ive had my LG refrigerator for barely 16 months and am having to replace the mother board and freezer fan. I dont even have it all paid for yet

The is refrigerator is a year and a half old and already has not one but TWO malfunctioning ice makers. One works when it feels like it and the other has quit making ice altogether. Of course we are barely out of warranty so LG wont do a thing without us paying a service charge. We were definitely mistaken in thinking we bought a quality product. Wont make the same mistake twice.

I bought this unit two years ago and have been very happy with most features and functions. The flexibility of the drawers and shelves lets us store all kinds of goods. The steel-grey finish is easy to maintain and the ice production is outstanding. Two items that I would suggest be modified: 1 The touch screen should turn on if you use any of the water or ice functions. It stays off until you touch it then you need to touch it again to make your selection. Extra touch is a waste of time. 2 The Custom Ice feature in the freezer space frequently needs to be reset. The reset button is hard to find and reach so it should be repositioned to a more accessible location on the ice maker. Overall a great machine.

Installed just a few months ago and suddenly its not working. Searchuing the internet it appears to be serious LG problem that they are not dealing with.

I bought my LG appliances two years ago. My refrigerator has already gone out. Hope the rest of my LG appliances hold up longer than two years.
